We visited here on our way home for a couple of hours fresh air, the park itself is lovely with the lake to walk round. We got a little disorientated at one point, a few signs in the woods would be nice to help find your way back to the play area/ car park perhaps. The new play area is really good, plenty for kids of all ages to enjoy. The café is nice and handy to grab a coffee to go to walk round with.

Pretty normal park. Had a BBQ event here with my wife and daughter and friends. Not a lovely environment that I enjoyed.

We met up with friends and enjoyed our walks together. The downside was the smell of sewerage from the nearby works.

I visited Milton Country Park on a Saturday morning in order to participate in the weekly Park Run. There is a decent bus service from Cambridge City Centre Drummer Street Bus Station, the journey taking only 15 minutes with a short walk into the Park. The Park has plenty of trees, well maintained paths and a lake along with a well appointed cafe and a children’s play area. The Park Run normally attracts between 500 and 600 runners, so clearly very popular. The Park is an attractive place to visit at any time with a parking area for those choosing to drive. Recommended for a couple of hours in nice weather.

New children’s play equipment and cafe refurbished make for a very enjoyable trip. Parking is good, large car park on site. Definitely worth a visit

There is a free carpark at Milton Community Centre accessing Milton Country Park. MCP charge for parking. Good for dog walking and fishing and blackberries. I slipped on one of their bridges in winter. Minimal refreshments. Can’t recall any seating except outside where you get a drink.

During the recent heatwave I took my dog here nearly every day despite it being a 20 minute drive away so he could go for a run somewhere with water and plenty of shade.

The park is very big, nearly all of the paths are under tree cover, and there are two big lakes. I have on a couple of occaisions gotten confused on the paths and ended up walking a much longer route than I had intended.

The car park is fairly expensive but there is always adequate space.

we had a great time here for the afternoon, the weather was great and we strolled and adventured the whole way around the lake. the whole park was very well looked after, no rubbish to seen anywhere. all the trails were clearly marked and we got the chance to get close to the wildlife around the lake.

one thing that we were looking for is a children's play area, after asking the staff apparently they have a new grant and plan build one in the next few months.

I took the stroller and it was easy to push around but the trails are open to bicycles..so next time that's what we will take. easy parking, however when we were they the machines wertn working and we had to walk to the restaurant, pay for a ticket and then back to the car, a bit of pain but hey nothing is perfect.

We visited here for the first time in 2 years and was pleasantly surprised the playground has been done up and is great for children lots to do and spaced out, a range of playing equipment form under 5s to early teens.
This is a big country park so very good for dog walks also plenty of wildlife we saw a muntjac, tadpoles, dragon flies, horse, ducks and plenty of birds, also lots of areas in the wooded parts for playing great for when the sun is too hot.
Only down side was the toilets they could do with a spruce up but they are located near the play area so very handy , also a cafe there but we didn’t use it.
