Very social, always a lot of people to meet, watch, see. Great for having a kick about in the sun, or socialising whilst sun-bathing. Gets a bit empty during the winter months as expected.

As its name has it, Midsummer Common is the place to go when in Cambridge, during the summer. A great place for bbqs or just to watch the fireworks in November. You might also catch a glimpse of the rowing teams that practice at the river, a truly exciting experience!

Wide open space where in the summer the Midsummer Fair arrives and stays for a week. A great attraction. Good access to the river Cam.

This area of land is usually empty with grass that is in need of mowing. Cows are often seen grazing on it.

There are fairs held here a couple of times a year. The most popular and best event held here is the midsummer common fireworks which are held here every year on firework night. They are well worth watching.

As a visitor to Cambridge I would not bother visiting midsummer common unless it is firework night.

There always seem to be some loud event here in the summer. Heavy vehicles churn up the ground and leave mud everywhere. Least attractive of the Cambridge green spaces.
