My wife and I have been the Green Man for our weekly date nights for much of the past year. We really enjoy the atmosphere!

“Red lLion Hotel, Grantchester”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2014

Visited hotel late on a Saturday afternoon after walking thru the very delightful village. We loved the setting and ambience of the hotel but the service left a lot to be desired. Our Order was taken by two people , forgotten, then we were told, without apology, they were busy and had too many things to do. Not our problem. Such a shame for such a lovely place. The Hotel's setting was so pleasant, though we did enjoy our drinks when we finally got them.

“Wedding in Grantchester”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2014

We had our Wedding in Grantchester Church. It's a beautiful village with lovely orchards. We fell for the village instantly! The vicar (rev. Stuart Mews) couldn't help us enough. The local Green Man pub were happy to lay on a very reasonably priced breakfast for all of our guests the following morning too. All in all it's a great place to visit and a wonderful place for an event!

“A wonderful Corner of Olde Worlde England”

So relaxing, breath in the lovely clear air, visit the lovely Orchard Tearooms, Walk along the river, enjoy a cold pint at the Red Lion, walk back to the village and wish you lived there..... I did. On a Sunny Day this place is heaven.....
