Stopped here for two nights while visiting my dad, stayed in room 4 room was great only problem was bathroom you couldn't swing a cat in there and the shower went from burn your skin hot to freezing cold within a couple of minutes. Have to say the breakfast was very good lots of it all in all not a bad little place to stay if you want somewhere cheap to stay near town centre good transport links to town centre.

We arrived at the guesthouse last minute and were greeted happily.
Room was suitable for us, bed & ensuite.
Shower head was cracked so the flow wasnt ideal but hey, the shower got us wet so nothing really to complain about.
Jeremy Kyle was on the telly so had a laugh at that.
A fiver for brekkie - tasty fry-up.
Good yarns.

I stayed with a bunch of my colleagues for work, and I cannot speak highly enough of Acacia. Genuinely had the nicest stay there, and was very well looked after. I'll try and summarise...:

- The rooms were modern and very well looked after (cleaned everyday).

- The breakfast was really good and served at a time requested (if ordered the night before).

- The owners were very accommodating, friendly, cheerful and couldn't do anymore for us!

- The bathroom was very clean, well kept/stocked and the shower had excellent pressure, so none of this dribbling tap to wake up to.

Thank you!

Room Tip: Call them up and speak to them, they're lovely and very friendly!

Good value for money for UK standards. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable and customer service excellent. Transportation links to the train station and the city are good. Bathroom could do with some improvement, water pressure in shower and from tap was very low.
