Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rosa's B&B and I would highly recommend this accommodation. Rosa was really friendly, welcoming and was particularly helpful in providing information about Cambridge which was useful during my two day stay. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, ideal for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was especially good including a warm fresh fruit compote that was delicious. The accommodation was homely and the room was in a self contained section of the house and so private. Rosa was really accommodating as she didn't have the same room available for the two nights I wanted to stay but made it easy to move between two different rooms for the two nights. I would stay here again if I was in Cambridge.

Highly recommended. Room is lovely, with a comfortable bed and all the regular stuff. Everything is shiny clean and well maintained. Landlady is friendly and helpful.

Exit outside from the ground floor rooms is rather strange - through a narrow outside corridor. Not a significant drawback, but rather peculiar.

Visiting Cambridge for 3 days, this place fitted the bill perfectly. Rosa is lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable to stay in with great breakfast every morning. Good location on the north side of town, easy to get onto the highways and dodge traffic. Exactly what I needed!

I stayed one night at Rosa's with my sister-in-law earlier this week. We were in Cambridge for a short stay and wanted somewhere clean, friendly and convenient for the city centre but did not want to pay city centre prices. We chose Rosa's on the basis of the positive TripAdvisor feedback and are pleased to report that the B&B more than lived up to expectations.

Rosa's is located in a quiet residential street just a couple of miles outside the centre and, while this is a family home, guests have their own entrance so it feels very private. We stayed in single rooms in a self-contained section of the ground floor, sharing a bathroom, located between the two rooms. This arrangement is ideal for two friends or for couples who don't mind sleeping in separate rooms for a night or two..

The rooms were a good size, cosy, warm, quiet, well appointed and very clean. We liked the attention to detail: extra bedding in the wardrobe; fluffy bathrobes; a jar of hot chocolate and a mini Twix bar provided alongside the usual tea/coffee; the curtains closed and the bedside lamp turned on ready for when we returned in the evening. The bathroom was also a good size, clean, beautifully tiled, with a very good shower and plenty of shelves for toiletries.

Rosa is very friendly and welcoming and clearly enjoys talking to her guests. She serves an excellent breakfast too in the main kitchen area of the house. You won't need lunch!

While some people may prefer to pay extra for the convenience of a city centre hotel, we were on a bit of a budget and quite happy to leave the car parked on Rosa's drive, take a short walk to the bus stop and catch the No 1 for the 10 minute ride into the centre. It certainly beat sitting in traffic and paying for car parking, especially when car parks don't seem to be particularly plentiful in Cambridge.

In summary, this was a brief but very comfortable and relaxing stay that delivered everything we needed and provided good value for money. Recommended!

Room Tip: The 2 single rooms on the ground floor are ideal for friends who don't mind sharing a bathroom or for couples who don't mind sleeping in separate rooms. This is a self-contained area of the house so it almost feels like you are staying in a mini apartment. There is one room at the front of the house, one at the back, but the road is very quiet so traffic noise is not a problem.

I stayed at Rosa's Bed'n'Breakfast with two other colleagues for one night. It was the perfect place for our short business trip to Cambridge. Very nice and friendly place! Exactly like the description, very good communication.
