Excellently situated midway between the railway station and the city centre and a reasonable walk to the most interesting colleges, museums, restaurants and bars.
The hotel is on a busy main road and my room was at the front, making it very noisy.
The hotel appeared to be good value but only once booking is complete are you informed that the single rooms are small - and it was. The en-suite was okay but the w.c. had a broken seat and meant crushed knees against a wall.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Breakfast (included) was really average with tasteless mushrooms, gristly sausages and scrambled egg like lumpy custard.
They could do so much more but, since they can't be bothered to empty the ashtrays on the front terrace, I'm not holding my breath.More
