The hotel was located centrally location and within walking distance to colleges and shopping district and restaurants. The hotel itself is older and showing its age. The old styled elevator was fascinating. The front staff were friendly, charming and attentive with a sense of humour. Our room overlooked Parkers Pieces. It was during the heatwave and room was very warm and marginal AC. The first morning our guests returned food and it was evident that other guests left with food remaining on their plates. Canned fruit not acceptable in this standard of hotel with the rates charged. The following morning, there was a manager present and meals/service improved but not to a four star level. For International visitors it would not rate as a four star hotel. Food, quality of food and choice was very disappointing.
