“Well curated collection”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

The Fitz is a very nice museum and has a super collection. It has Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Persian, European porcelain and an armoury section downstairs and the art gallery upstairs. We were lucky enough to be here while the Chinese Han tomb exhibition was on and it was very well set out. The jades are amazing. I also highly recommend the fan gallery downstairs.

All in all it is a good museum and a nice way to spend an hour or two. It is also free (you may donate if you wish).

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

This museum is worth a visit. A range of exhibits so something to interest everyone. Good place to spend a rainy afternoon in Cambridge. The museum is free but you can place a donation in any of the boxes provided. There is a cafe and gift shop. Disabled access is available ( a lift at the far entrance with level street access)

“YOU WILL GO”
Reviewed April 28, 2012

This place is absolutely amazing.

For you museum junkies: this will be one of your favourites. You could spend days in this place. It has Egyptian, roman, Italian art and history.

Everyone else-- again it has something for everyone.

There is no admission to the museum however if you are inclined to do so, they do accept donations. One of the few places where the 99% can view masterpieces and history thanks to the 1%.

Make this in the top of things to do.
