The decoration style of King's college chapel is not consistent. Apparently when they started, the king wanted it to be simple, then came other kings continuing the work, they forgot about that, it got decorated more and more extravagant. Because it was built by the kings involved in the War of Roses, it got quite a lot stories. In addition, it's roof is one of the favourites of Cambridge night climber. I went in with a guide so I got to hear all the history. Didn't see any video guide. One side of the chapel, there is a long series of small rooms with exhibition about the history of the kings who started, continued and finally finished building the chapel. It's well worth looking.
