“Great...exactly as promised.”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Stayed here for the night before taking my son home from Uni. Lovely clean room, great bed and powerful water pressure. Kerry at reception couldn't have been more helpful in ordering us a taxi, getting extra towels, and printing us off maps. Slept very well, very little noise which makes a pleasant change. Decided to have breakfast in the end as our son was too hungover to travel just yet! Again, the staff were so helpful. Breakfast was very good value...I had at least 3 cups of Costa Coffee, all included in the £8.25. Bargain. parking was great too. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night on a business trip it's about fifteen minutes from the train station and has the busy A14 nearby. Was concerned that here may be noise as I was allocated a room facing the
road but had nothing to worry about as I heard no noise and slept exceedingly well.

Olivia on reception was a gem arranging a taxi for the following morning and really concerned that my stay should be pleasurable although she did say that the hotel was full so there was little opportunity to change rooms should I need too.

The restaurant was very busy in the evening but breakfast in the morning was a more relaxed
affair and the quality of the food was good with yet again friendly staff. The management of this hotel have certainly cracked this one.

There is little do do outside the hotel and a taxi into Cambridge is not cheap so more suited to car travelling guests.

Hotels in Cambridge centre are really expensive so this is a good alternative particularly if you book in advance.

Premier Inns are safely predictable - rooms & food always similar & good value for money if you book in advance. This one stands out for it's location in the middle of a new housing estate, no shops or restaurants within walking distance but very convenient for motorways & city centre.

First night was excellent, second night marred by extremely rowdy party crowd coming in at 3.30am and.... the sound of wind howling around the windows! If you're a light sleeper, take ear plugs

Quiet room despite proximity to the A14. The triple glazing worked well!
Possibly the best customer service of any Premier Inn with the exception of the restaurant which kept me waiting for 15 mins after my first course

The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good, hot and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly. Room was quiet overlooking the housing estate. Downsides are that the bed was hard and therefore uncomfortable and when we arrived at 10.30pm at night the room was very cold. We switched the thermostat up but it was slow to heat so the choice was to watch telly sitting in our coats or go to bed to warm up. We did the latter. Not suggesting that the room should have been very warm(not eco-friendly) , just not quite so cold. Not a great welcome after a long day when you are very tired. Probably would not book this chain again because of the hard bed.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking housing estate and not motorway. It will be quieter.

We stay at this hotel every 4 weeks when visiting my elderly mother. Good location with plenty of on site car parking. Bedrooms have everything you need always clean. Lovely bar area we only had a bar snack this time but very good.. Breakfast is always good with plenty of choice. Staff always happy and very helpful.

The hotel was very clean and the reception friendly, the food in the restaurant was quick and hot and well presented. The area was quiet and in a housing estate, not too far from the centre of Cambridge as we were visiting the Wren Library the next morning. it was an excellent choice.
