Visited with my Persian husband and we were disgusted with the food - don't waste your time or money! The glass of red wine we ordered was sent back as it was clearly watered down - it almost looked like Rose minus taste. My husband had an argument with the waitress over this as she was refusing to take it back. This is not Persian cuisine by any fetch of the imagination, it's reheated, not fresh and over priced!

This restaurant offers an interesting encounter with Iranian food. The food is good, no more than that. Dessert was a delicious faloodeh, recommended!

The temparature in the restaurant was rather cold (at 6PM, not many people around, maybe temparature is better later in the evening).

On the way from the town to the station, we've walked past this restaurant on loads of occasions, but have never tried it. Well, last week we did.

We'd never eaten Iranian food before but now wish that we had. As we don't eat meat we were a bit concerned that any veggie option might be a bit of a nonentity. But there were five mains choices, and both the Baurek and Dal Adas were very tasty. We'd started with Dalmek and Stuffed Mushrooms, finishing off with ice cream and chocolate cake. For drinks, we went for the house red, which was a very drinkable (and reasonable at £14.50) Italian.

From the point of view of both food and service, we had a very enjoyable evening. The only downside was that the restaurant was extremely quiet. It was a Thursday and we had arrived at 6:30 but, even by the time we left at 8:15, only three other people had been in. This was a real shame. We just hope that their trade picks up at weekends.

After reading the reviews we went with a little trepidation, but wow, how wrong the reviews turned out to be. The staff were courteous, friendly, and chatty about the menu and themselves. The food was amazing, all so aromatic and beautifully presented, and ever so tasty. Will certainly be having a return trip, and would advise everyone else to give it a go.
