Stayed at Alder lodge for 2 nights Fri 2nd and Sat rd December in the small single non-ensuite room. No complaints , everything in the room and the breakfast was as it should be .Thank you !

A long walk or a taxi ride from town, this well presented b&b is basic but does the job. Cambridge seems expensive in general, so this b&b is actually 'budget'.
Stayed here for one night as I had an interview in the Science Park. Only 10 minutes walk away so very convenient. Room was fine - only annoying thing was that the light from the corridor shone into the room above the door.
Quite reasonably priced at £38 for the night.
Stayed here whilst attending my son' graduation at Cambridge Uni. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. A bit far from main town (45 mins by bus)
but bus stop was nearby and taxis were reliable and quite cheap. Shops and pub were nearby also. A bit small for 3 adults but would recommend to others.
this room was right up our street there was 3 of us in there for the night!!
it had a nice, on suite with shower and toilet with sink and fresh towels. with a wardrobe to hang our cloths up.very comfortable 1 double bed and a single!!
the fry up in the morning was really great As well.
we only payed £75 for the 3 of us including breakfast.
i also booked the plus bus on line which i got all day round Cambridge for 1.50!!!!
well worth booking this B N B for the night!
I stayed here for a week, and found it a bargain. Impeccably clean bathroom en suite, lovely breakfast in the morning, friendly staff, clean spacious room with wifi and tv, tea making facilities and storage space. There's also an ironing board and iron outside in the hall for general use. I would definately stay here again.
The location is a 25 minute bus ride from the centre of Cambridge, I bought a Megarider ticket for 12 pounds which gave me unlimited travel for seven days. Overall I didn't find the distance to be a hassle.
