A huge Premier Inn. Although close to the motorway - noise did not bother us and we are light sleepers. Plenty of parking, although we suggest you drop bags at front first as there are quite a few steps to the parking. Had a Family Room - 2 Adults, 2 Children and a Toddler in a cot and there was plenty of room for us all. Only Premier Inn we have stayed in that had a Family room upstairs - so we didnt have to listen to people walking above us all night, loved this. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant was great and the food was decent at a good price. A supermarket was close by - which was really handy. The rooms are clean, well designed and comfortable. Very happy with our stay here.

Room Tip: Try and get an upstairs room if you can. Otherwise you may be listening to noisy people in the room...

Bog standard premier inn. Which is in no means derogatory, I've never stayed in a bad one!!

Spotlessly clean, comfotable rooms, friendly staff, decent food and at £39 per night for a family of four, what's not to like!

Would definately stay here again.

The hotel and attached restaurant were good - well worth paying extra for the cooked breakfast. The only real problem is the directions from the M40. It is just next to Junction 3 - which is fine coming from London, but you cannot get off at that junction coming from Oxford. Neither can you get on to the motorway towards Oxford at Junction 3. The directions on the website were useless, but once we found the place, it was fine.

If you are having a few nights away then this is a great Premier Inn. I wouldn't stay longer than a few nights as quite faceless and above average cost. Rooms are as you would expect in one of the chain. The best thing is the attached Brewers Fayre. It is well run with consistently prompt service at good prices.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from reception and not facing pub

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn, clean, comfortable and provides the basics for a reasonable nights sleep.
My only gripes are the lack of smoking room options and despite there being a freeview equiped TV in the room, you were not able to watch the freeview choice of channels. I bought this up with reception on checkout and was told this is because of the location of the hotel in the valley. Although the fact that they had foreign language channels not available on freeview suggested that it was nothing to do with the location.
The neighbouring pub attached to the hotel was a bland and boring brewers fayre, uninspiring menu, lacking in any kind of soul. I would suggest eating anywhere else. Breakfast though was in total contrast, good choice of food and very tasty.
However despite the couple of gripes, the staff at both the hotel and pub were friendly and pleasant.

Room Tip: It's a Premier Inn, if you have stayed in one before then the rooms all look the same.

I initially booked a double room for last friday night- at only 24 hrs notice - all done on line and at a reasonable price (bearing in mind it was for next day). Reception staff very good and welcoming. Room fine - everything we needed - bar and restaurant busy but no problems in getting food and drinks.
Our plans changed on the Saturday evening and we needed a further overnight stay - managed to book back in again - OK, price had increased but understandable. Different room / different level but still everything fine.
I understand there is a new hotel manager taking over in the very near future - hope he can maintain the standards or even improve things- I might even have to stay again to find out.

Decent Premier Lodge. Good efficient service on check-in/ check-out. In fact every time I had to use reception I received good, attentive service.
The room was fine though a little cool for my wife and we struggled with the air conditioning controls though I think thats us.
Breakfasts were fine, good selection as always. We did have to send a boiled egg back but that was replaced well and swiftly.
We did use the bar a couple of times and the restaurant once. Service was slow through poor training on the bar and through poor overseeing in the restaurant. The service was civil and polite just very slow and unattentive. You are almost directly opposite a shopping centre with a decent array of chain offerings; La Tasca, Zizzi, Wagamama etc.
The car park is small and you may have to park on the side roads behind the hotel but though it looks unpleasant we didn't expirience any issues
