“Great food, friendly service - give the chains a miss and eat here”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

Family of 4 ate here on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful meal - great value for money. Pleasant setting and laid back friendly service.

The kids meals were great including freshly squeezed orange juice and proper chicken strips. You must try the chocolate milkshakes which come in a variety of flavours including Snickers, Maltesers, Oreo and more!

I had the ribs which were huge and perfectly cooked, my wife had a steak which was tender and a spot on medium rare. The sides were spot on too - chips, onions rings and coleslaw.

Can't comment on dessert as we were full from the mains and the milkshakes!

“Lives up to the reviews!”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Such a friendly place, serving great honest food like burgers, steaks, ribs etc. Staff take pride in their work, and it shows. All freshly cooked, and they really know how to make a coffee too.
So many things on the menu that I want to try, so will have to return many times to find out what the rest is like! We had a burger and a steak for our first visit - next time think I'll try the ribs. Philly sandwich that other diners had also looked very nice indeed. Chips were great, with options like cheese (properly melted) and Cajun spice.
Lots of people having milkshakes too. Great value too.
Wonderful place, you've got me hooked!

“First time visitor, will go back”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

We went to this place on aturday night pre-theatre. Saw they were fairly near the theatre in High Wycombe (not a place I've been to for 20 years) and were highly rated on Tripadvisor. I booked a table for 5.30 to ensure plenty of time to relax, order, eat and get to theatre. When we got there at 5.30, I wondered why I had bothered to book a table as there were only 6 other people there. The staff were really friendly, happy to discuss the ingredients they use. We ordered natcho's to share - glad they came with the jalapeno peppers on the side as they were really hot! Main courses were 3 different kinds of burgers and Ribs (of beef), which were a huge portion . The delivery time was a bit longer than expected but not too bad. As everything is cooked fresh to order, this is expected. With some beers, glass of wine, a fruit juice and 7up, the total bill was £65. We were in there for 90 minutes, the foot was great, the staff (all brothers who owned the place, and a young lady who didn't stop smiling) were friendly, and we left stuffed and not feeling we'd been ripped off by this place, we'd be happy to go back again next time we're in High Wycombe.

“Good for pre-theatre”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

Four of us enjoyed dinner here on Saturday. We had reserved a table but didn't think it was necessary as when we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We arrived, however, at 5.30pm which by most peoples standards is very early for dinner. but by the time we left at 7pm, there was only one or two tables empty.

Good vfm and enjoyable food. The 'band of brothers' who run Mom's Diner are hospitable and keen to ensure that their guests are satisfied. The food is good and all prepared to order.

We'll definitely go back when next in the area.

Four of us for 2 x shared starters and 4 main courses, with beer, wine and soft drinks came to £65.00
