“A great day out”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Fanastic fun for the family. Lots to do, great value for money. Nice to go to a place you can actually interact with the animals (feeding them). Staff are very friendly. Must visit the shop, its great value and lots of small things kids can buy (pocket money type gifts). Would recommend for all the family, great to see the kids can run around and play on the slides, plenty of places to sit and eat. Doesn't matter if its raining, lots of activities inside too.

“Odds Park Farm trips (multiple) and birthday party”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We love Odds Park Farm so much that we joined on an annual membership. Lots of learning activities for the children with animals. They do a set talk / presentation at scheduled times of the day with the animal keepers including stroking the rabbits, watching the cow being milked, feeding the pigs, etc. There are lots of small animals inside including rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and goats. The talks are informative and the opportunity for you to ask questions about the animals. This is all in the indoor section. There is a huge indoor playbarn and soft play for a rainy day which is so much fun that all the adults join in especially on the slides which are staffed. There is a great indoor cafe and a coffee shop. You can bring a picnic too and there are plenty of covered areas to eat your picnic. There are covered activities of riding on little tractors for the little ones. Outdoors there are animals, some rare breeds and sheep racing on a good day which you can take a non-monetary bet on. You get a prize if your sheep wins the race. This is in the better weather I think as not ventured out to do the sheep racing in the winter yet. I have seen individuals, families and couples visiting. You can take a trailer ride around the farm which is pulled by a great big tractor every day around 5pm. We had our little one's birthday party there and the food was plentiful. They all had animal themed masks and you can bring along your own birthday cake. You can also order food for the adults and hot drinks at the birthday parties. There are plenty of hand wash facilities although in the busy periods the outdoor hand washing facilities often run out of supplies. This is the only fault I have found with it. I cannot sing it's praises enough. The staff are lovely and we really enjoy our visits there.

“Barn yard fun!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

This was quite a day out with my niece and nephew. An experience for me as well to understand what kids think when they see animals. The day was dull and gloomy and as this was indoor, the kids definitely had fun.

We entered to see a barn with goats, sheep, rabbits, chicken, guinea pigs , pigs and a cow. The people were really nice and my niece got to see how they milk a cow and feed the goats. After the indoor tour, we stepped out to see different varieties of chicken and cattle.

The best part was they had these dirt bike like bicycles for kids which kept my nephew occupied . Kept racing on the track.. Finally it was time for some lunch, a tractor ride and a sheep race...Although my ram came in last.. it was good fun.

Overall, a good day out for kids aged 3 - 10 I think.

“Good day out”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Have been here a few times and a few birthday parties too. I ust say the indoor area is vastly improved from my last visit, the slide for the kids are excellemt and they nevr get tired of throwing themselves down the sheer drop (blue slide) with all the other kids. The pricing is reasonable and the outdoor play area is great, bring a picnic and its a noce day out for all the family. Pick a nice day though otherwise it is a tad miserable. Feed of the aniomals keep the young ones entertained with questions and visuals. If you little one is invited to a party there , do stay and occapany them , it is too vast for one person to look after all the children once they have left the party room , call me paranoid but the little gate thru the gift shop then out into the car park is easy for any child to get lost or wonder off whilst looking at what they would like to buy ! nice day out and often they have many activities throughout the year so keep an eye on thier website if you are looking for things to do in the school holidays.

“Loads to do, can get a full day out of it”
Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

The price to get in seems expensive but when you see what they have there, you can understand the prices. There is a fantastic indoor play barn and a big outdoor play area with loads of climbing stuff. There are ride-on toy tractors and of course lots of animals. as it was half term yesterday there was a magic show and pumpkin carving.
The cafe and eating area is in the play barn so you can grab a table and have a coffee while the kids play. It is all reassuringly clean.
Shame you are forced to walk through the gift shop to exit.
