I took my son and daughter in law for lunch today. we arrived at 11.50am and ordered straight away. I understand the kitchen may not open until midday but it was 12.35 when we received our meals.
we were first in the pub!!
we had no complaints about the food at all. very tasty.
ladies toilet pan was full because it didn't flush!!

Just stopped by to eat. Great Food, Great Service what more could you ask for! We ordered from the very comprehensive menu and it was cooked perfectly. We had sea bream and a pasta dish both very tasty. Also had a desert that was good too!

Really great place, nice pub serving excellent food, the breakfast was superb. The room was really nice and away from the pub. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again and again as my central office is in High Wycombe which is just up the road!

Stayed at the Crown for one week on business and had the most amazing experience. There are four rooms in the car park with thier own entrance and all the modern amenities. Fridge, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, flat screen tv and a dedicated wifi just for the rooms as the wifi for the pub is a bit too far as mentioned in one of the other reviews.
The food at the pub was incredible. Breakfast is made anyway you like and the dinner was out of this world. Chicken Mushroom Pasta, Filet Burger, or the Steak I would highly recommend. Wash that down with a few pints of fresh Ale and before i head off to bed, they would confirm when i would need breakfast before i head off to work.
I have had the privilege of staying and eating at many places, and cannot remember having a nicer experience. I hope to come back soon.

This is an inn in the country with a block of 4 purpose built "cabins" to one side of the car park. These are self contained rooms with every possible convenience - flat screen tv, coffee maker, fridge etc. The bedding and towels are immaculate, and the bed is super comfy. The bathroom is a contemporary wet-room, with a great shower with lashings of hot water. All in all very good. The inn is quite small, and if I had one complaint it would be that there is no "comfy" seating in the pub - probable because it's so popular for food that there's no room. The food is extremely good, and very reasonably priced - the chips are to die for! Another plus for me, is that they serve Prosecco by the glass. The proprietors, a father and son team, are very convivial, creating a nice atmosphere. Breakfast - all local stuff, and the pubs own eggs - delicious, and cooked to order. Be warned though that the local hunt meet there for breakfast on a Wednesday (not sure if it's every Wed), and although we were fine with it, some may find it a little noisy. One other small niggle is that we couldnt get wifi in the room. All in all though, a very pleasant stay indeed.

My party of 8 adults stayed for one night on a Saturday night in August. We had a wonderful stay, nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors.
The food produced by the Chef at the Crown was excellent, local produce with great value, added to the experience.
Chalet style bedrooms are situated at the end of the ample car park, we all commented on the facilities found within these rooms, as well as the very spacious wet room.

We will certainly return & stay for a longer next time, we only wished that we had had more time to explore the stunning countryside which surrounds The Crown.

Room Tip: The Crown has only 4 double bedrooms, which are Chalet style, in a seperate building at the end of t...

Very good real ale, Excellent food and very pleasant staff. After a long walk in the local area a couple of very good pints of real ale in the large garden were very welcome. The experience was rounded off with an first class Sunday roast.
