Artists and craftspeople display a number of their designs for all to see. These vary from exquisitely crafted products in wood to produce many different designs such as bowls or in one case a large wooden leaf which looked magnificent. There are paintings, Jewellery, Decorated eggs, Art in Felt or Resin, Sculptures and Photography. To top all this is a Chair Museum depicting what was High Wycombe in its chair manufacturing heyday.

We were hosted by the owner, who gave us a very passionate and informative tour of the museum and gallery. His enthusiasm for the subject shines through, and the tools and chairs on show are well worth a look. Highly recommend.

This really is a hidden gem in the area and a highly recommended place to visit, with a fabulous art and crafts gallery and a fascinating little museum featuring rare artefacts and historical articles on High Wycombe's artisan background of chair making. Workshops are also available on site for anyone interested in trying their hand!

Chair museum is first-class with some fine examples of local manufacture. Practical demonstrations and some outstanding craftwork on display. Beautiful artworks being created in the studios and one of the best galleries in the area is on-site. You can see the works being created before your eyes. Inspirational, up-lifting. Facilities are first-rate, clean and comfortable. Treasure in an unlikely setting.
