Very good food at a reasonable price. We paid £20 and got 7 plates of tapas, all were delicious! Although the bar area was very busy the restaurant area was quiet and relaxed. The service was great, they were happy to make a pudding up for us even though they normally don't serve them on a Saturday night.

Beer is usual for clifton, £4.20 for a pint of Peroni.

The location is brilliant, an easy walk away from the Suspension Bridge. Thoroughly recommended! Don't be put off by the lack of website

I stay in bristol every couple of weeks and I would highly recommend this place. tapas excellent and very good value. Recent addition of grill for around nine pounds. rioja excellent.

Only gripes. Only serve one measure of wine ie medium. Barmaid could be more attentive - ask how your meal was. Maybe suggest a refill :-)
If u like tasty food at a reasonable price go for it!

I went here last weekend for a birthday celebration. We were a party of four and two of us shared tapas and the other two chose items from the main menu, which had a few options for £8.95 or £11.95 with a glass of wine. The mains were fantastic and the tapas amazing. I'd especially recommend any of the fish tapas choices and the meatballs.

It's not a luxurious place, so don't expect fine dining. But the atmosphere is lively and fun, staff very friendly, laid back and easy to chat to, and above all, brilliant food. We can't wait to go back!

I have eaten in here 2 or 3 times since my last review as they are now doing Tapas in the evening. It is £3.50 a dish or £10.00 for 3 and there is a large selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Most recently I had chicken skewers, whitebait and garlic mushrooms - which with the crusty bread and butter was pretty filling! What is good about it is that given the price you can come in for a bite to eat in the evening without having to have the expense or time of going out to a restaurant - and it's a bit more informal. Perfect for when I can't be bothered to cook! I also had Sunday lunch here at the weekend which was brilliant - although as the tables are quite small it is a bit of a squeeze to fit everything on! They do need to get a highchair too as they currently don't have one. Well worth a visit though!
