Went Saturday pm, just two of us. Friendly service and food gorgeous. Not full of young noisy trendy types or yummy mummy's which makes for a pleasant change. Will be re visiting very soon

We visited the Rose of Denmark for a Sunday roast with our friend & our 4 week old baby. On arrival the staff were very accommodating of our pushchair. Service was very relaxed & we did not feel rushed. The set menu offers a simple selection of food at a reasonable price, with other options also available. The did was generously portioned & of a good quality.
The selection of drinks, especially beers was also notable. Overall we had a pleasant experience. We weren't expecting michelin starred food or silver service, we add simply got warm friendly service & food & drinks appropriate for a pub. We would go again.

Called in with friends on a Thursday evening and had one of the best meals we had in our stay at Bristol. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great place to eat and drink.
Well done to all that work there you really take a pride in what you do.

Although we have lived nearby for a few years tonight was our first visit! As soon as we entred we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. We both had the burger and pint deal- great value and one of the best homemade burgers I have had. Fantastic choice of menu we will definitely we going back as there are many meals I would like to try!

I was really looking forward to treating myself and family to a Sunday lunch. The food and service at this pub was terrible and not an enjoyable experience. The chicken was solid as a rock and the rest was cold. The other members of the party also had cold dinners. When confronting the issue with the staff they were not at all apologetic but in fact incredibly rude. It was some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Our Sunday was ruined by this experience and we left hungry. If you value good food, value for money and your Sunday you will not come to this pub.
