Description: Up there with the best pubs in Bristol. The Bristol Flyer, as it's traditionally known, is a friendly pub on the Gloucester Road serving seriously good pub food and an array of speciality drinks more dizzying than our classic trompe d'oeil floor. Head for one of our cosy, relaxing sofas and you'll soon recover. As a venue we're versatile (like a potato but better) and well kitted out for both intimate dinners and group gatherings.

Good selection of beer. Good atmosphere. There is more thsan enough room for parties and quiter corners for more intimate times. What more could you want?!

Went for Sunday lunch here on recommendation and were not disappointed. Between us had three different roast meats - chicken, pork and beef - and all were good. Could have done with a couple more roast potatoes but I do like my food. Side vegetable dishes very nice.
As with many of these places the puddings were good but a little over priced.
All the staff very pleasant and helpful.
We booked on the Saturday morning for the Sunday and got a nice table.

Booked a table here the day before, nice table reserved tucked away around the corner. Ordered chorizo burger and cheese burger using discount card which wasn't a problem at all. Staff friendly and chatty, nice selection of drinks, and the burgers were both amazing! Pudding too was lovely :) even on a Tuesday the pub was fairly busy, but a really nice atmosphere.

This was my fourth visit and I won't hesitate to come back again :)

Has a fantastic choice of drink and a great atmosphere however can be a bit pricey. Food 80% of the time is fab.

Had lunch here as a total last minute back up and the roast was fine. The service is very attentive and the bar man is friendly. The surroundings are fine you sort of get what you pay for. I would say one thing to the chef and that's you need to work on your Yorkshires mine was pancakey and burnt either the oil wasn't hot enough or the mix not cold enough! But the veg was really nice and as a back up plan I'd go back for Sunday lunch. Word to the wise though some of the clientele can be a bit unsavoury and it took us a few attempts to find a table where we were comfortable!!
