Very friendly staff and surprisingly broad menu for a small restaurant but perhaps it would be better with a slightly smaller menu and really top class ingredients/preparation. Genuine suggestions for the restaurant to help it improve. (1) take more care over the music choices in the background (2) re-arrange the tables to be horizontal rather than vertical to the room (would mean losing the beige bench but would feel more intimate (3) lobster with rich dressing does not need both bearnaise and goose-fat chips. A simple drawn butter dressing and lightly done fries is enough. I hope the restaurant does well but needs to make some changes to be as good as it could be.
