Description: We are an independent espresso bar in the heart of Bristol offering fantastic coffee, whole leaf tea, handmade cakes and cold drinks. In the mornings we also have fresh pastries from Hart's Bakery and for lunch we have a small range of sourdough toasties. Everything is available to enjoy in or to take away.We specialise in coffee, and at any one time have a house and guest espresso, decaf, and also single origin beans for filter coffee. All our coffees are also available ground or whole bean for you to enjoy at home.

“Best coffee in Bristol's centre”
Reviewed January 17, 2014 via mobile

This place is the best coffee in the centre. Sure, there are some other spots nearby (FCP for instance) that are also great, but the atmosphere here particularly appeals to us. We take clients here and we refuel ourselves several times a week with a great coffee. They always recognise us and their service is superb. An extra bonus is the pastry selection from Hart's - not to be missed! Long live Small Street.

Fantastic coffee at amazingly reasonable prices. Cozy atmosphere. Great staff. Didn't eat but the small selection of sandwiches and cakes looked yummy.

“Amazing coffee!”

Best coffee we have had after 3 months in europe. long blacks and espresso were made perfectly and the beans used were delicious. The banana bread was incredible with bits of chocolate through it... Wish we could have taken them with us!

“Great filter coffee and lovely sour dough bread!”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

Enjoyed a very tasty and unusual Kenyan peaberry prepared in an aeropress, and a flat white with an El Salvador bean (roasted by Caravan), together with sour dough toast with marmalade. All went down well and complemented each other fantastically!! Relaxed and intimate atmosphere, with a good range of coffees from different roasters including those in Bristol. A really good independent cafe!
