Trained in Paris and it shows. Best patissier for many miles. Tops in Bristol. Highly recommend a visit.

I nipped in to Patisserie Leila yesterday morning having spotted it from across the road. I went in for a coffee, but spotted the largest slices of French-style custard tart on the counter. Alas I only had enough change for one of the two - which was it to be coffee or custard tart? The man behind the counter leapt to my rescue - he said he'd give me the tart and I could pay another time. What a gent. Not only was it the best tasting custard tart I've ever eaten, but the coffee was fantastic too. Thank you Kiki! I'll be back for more and to re-pay you for the slice x
I can only comment on the macarons we took away, but if everything is as good, then this place is awesome!
We had no intention of getting any cake, but walked past a sign that said '5 macaroons for £3.50', so had to have a look. They looked pretty good, so we popped in and asked the very helpful girl behind the counter what flavours there were, and ordered a few (selection of 5 flavours at that time) and took the box away.
Great texture, great colour and fantastically intense flavours...no question that these are an absolute steal! (Individually they are still only 90p!)
I have bought from here again and again and again.
