“Fantastic Apartment Very spacious and great value”
Reviewed July 11, 2012 for a stay in July 2012

Was only needing to stay in Bristol for a few nights and was delighted with the apartment Robert made sure the apartment was spotless before I arrived. If you are looking for a home away from home apartment then this is exactly what is proivded. Brilliant location and just accross the road from the main shopping centre and city centre. Robert was fantastic he left a lovely welcome pack and called to check everything was ok. Really good value for money so will be staying again when next in Bristol, as a lot nicer then a hotel ! would definitely recommend.

“Could do better.”
Reviewed July 9, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

This could be a nice place with a small amount of expenditure. The kitchen was very poorly equipped - fine if you want to eat take-aways or ready meals but no proper set of saucepans or kitchen tools - not even a bottle opener, potato peeler or small sharp knife. It's difficult to prepare vegetables with a bread knife, or open a bottle with a pair of scissors. The property is not suitable for persons with limited mobility - the bath was slippery and there was neither non-slip mat nor grab bar. The bottom of the shower screen was covered with black mould. Apart from that, the apartment is in a good position, has good sized rooms and is adequately furnished. I contacted the owner after our stay and told him what I thought was lacking but although he acknowledged my email and promised to consider what I said, he has failed to get back to me so I can only conclude that he has taken no action. As it stands, I do not think this apartment is value for money though expenditure of probably under £200 would make it acceptable.

Management Response
Jul 31, 2012
A truly modern apartment, ideal for short term stays and cleaned to the highest standards. The kitchen is well equipped and, with respect, the guest who wrote this review was totally incorrect with some of her facts - there are bottle openers, scissors, sharp knives, a host of kitchen tools and sets of new saucepans etc. The owner offers a very personal and yet unobtrustive service. The spacious bathroom makes life easier for those with limited mobility. There is now a non slip bath mat available.
