Formerly Amici's, this warm friendly Italian has absolutely everything you could want. The staff were incredibly attentive and offered us extra garlic dough balls for waiting (although it was only a few minutes before a waiter took our order). We had two starters, mains and drinks, and it came to a very reasonable £30, and we left VERY full.
The food was outstanding, proper hearty Italian grub, with big portions. The staff were fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. This new Italian eatery is highly recommended!!

Went in as bored on the last day of Easter holidays. It was raining outside but we still wanted to try this new place. To our surprise the welcome and the ambience was warm on this cold evening. The staff excellent and even the food superb. The seafood pizza with no cheese really tasty. The bill was reasonable. We met the owner and he was real nice guy. Proud to have a place like this near our residence.

This new restaurant is truly amazing! Without sounding like a cliche, I've eaten out lots, but this has to be the best! Second to none! The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly staff. Salvatore is very welcoming and charming. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and cozy .And the food......out of this world. Utterly delicious. Salvatore should be very proud. His premises, his staff and the food are top class! You should go asap. 11 out of 10!! Well done Salvatore's Kitchen. We shall definitely be back!

Recently opened within the old Amici premises on Cheltenham Road, near the Arches. This family owned restaurant has undergone a full refurb so that none of the Amici drab remains. Remember the good food and lousy service of Amici. Now we have great food at a reasonable price and really friendly service.

We met Salvatore tonight and his merry band who were obviously enjoying the experience as much as we were. 4 of us, had olives, pizza x 2 with salad, 1 pudding, 2 pints of Carlsberg, bottle of wine and coffees and the bill was a very reasonable £65. we weren't ripped off by the wine either. £14 for a decent Pinot Grigio.

Very friendly service with Salvatore greeting everyone, another waiter teaching us Italian so we could ask for the bill and lots of smiles and laughs from fellow customers. A good cross section of people incl group of lads, young couples, middle aged and old couples and families enjoying a night out.

We also enjoy La Campagnuola around the corner in Zetland Road but we preferred this one. There is more space here, it's as friendly, food as good but just feels a lot nicer and more relaxing.

The horrible Amici chairs are no more either thankfully. A new family owns it so all the bad of Amici has been banished so give it a go - it deserves to do well.
