“Cheep but not cheerful!”
Reviewed November 11, 2007

Premier Apartments Bristol are conveniently postioned for visiting Bristol. However, if you want to good service or sleep don't stay there!

We got off to a bad staff when a parking space, at a cost of £8, which was booked in September, was not available. After informing the receptionist of this and after a 10 minute wait, she moved her car so we could use that space. More disapointingly her attitude about this 'inconvenience to herself' was nothing short of rude. Customer service was not one of her skills!

When we reached the apartment is smelt of sweat and stale beer. The plug in the sink in the toilet was stuck and when you pulled the flush the apartment vibrated. I am not exaggerating.

After a night out we returned to the apartment to find two gentlemen outside who couldn't get in, no key fob to open the outside door and no night porter.

When we got into our bed every move provoked a noisy creak and the blind was missing three slats so the street lights lit up the room.

The apartment don't seem to have any sound proofing so anyone walking about in the night or using the toilet can be heard.

I could see that the apartment are in the middle of an upgrade but they should not charge full price for what is on offer at the moment.

Bottom line.... hen nights and stag parties will probably be ok, anyone else, book somewhere else.

Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a double room apartment for one night. The receptionist was not very experienced; they appeared to have overlooked our booking of a parking space- which in my view is necessary as the apartments are in a somewhat run down area; it is a mixture of new offices and vacant old industrial units. I would not want to leave my car in the streets around these apartments. The car park is not fully secure, despite apearances, as the footgate is not locked. The parking is limited, so booking is essential.

The Apartment itself was clean, fairly new but had some rough finishing here and there. It was adequately equipped, although the double beds are of the smallest kind, despite being in good sized rooms. The kitchen is good sized, although not as fully equped as we would like (eg coffee expresso machine is not supplied). The TV is an older style and faily small screen.
It is not somewhere i would want to spend a lot of time within the apartment, but as it is within 10 minutes walk of the centre of town (and once you get to the accross the nearby Bristol bridge, it feels safe).

The "ringbring" service failed to work for us when we wanted to order a delivery, and the information supplied in the apartment for local restaurants etc is poor; we did not take our laptop so this was frustrating. the apartment is convenient for a family, but for two people on a short stay i would prefer a hotel.
