really interesting, especially on a wet afternoon. Loved the bus and the map of Bristol on the floor. Learnt a lot about the different areas and history.

From historic docks to attractive sightseeing venue Even the modern buildings aren't over obtrusive and there is still plenty to do and see for everyone, even an indoor golf school.
Plenty of history to be seen, bars to attend, restaurants to feed you and trips around the docks and along the Avon.

“And there was a plan to fill it with concrete!”

The real heart of Bristol, a very special place with lots to do for all ages. The Harbourside is rapidly becoming the social heart of Bristol. Access generally is very good, lots of food around, you can visit in the daytime then come back in the evening and see a different character.

we loved this area, particularly the fact that most places seemed to be individual rather than global 'names'. Very friendly atmosphere. Cobbles got a bit tiresome after a while.

They haven't got the hang over riverside living yet here. Too many student places and generally rather shabby
