“Le Biere Bistro (it's new name)”
Reviewed July 5, 2012 via mobile

I took my wife for her birthday based on reviews of the Clifton kitchen. The restaurant now does classic French food and has changed its name and it is incredible. One of the best meals we have eaten in Bristol. Try it, try it, try it!! Great mid week menu and prices, great service and brilliant food.

“Bistro Biere! new name but still good food”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

Ate here last night and had the 3 course £20 deal supported by a Chouffe beer which was excellent. The owner chatted through the options and discussed the dishes of the day. Duck pate was really nice as a starter followed by steak and sweet. Nice food low key surroundings and the keith floyd link was not OTT. The food was tasty and well-cooked.

“following in floyd's footsteps”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

This is a lovely little restaurant close to the suspension bridge, where Keith Floyd started his career. When I ate there, they were offering a 3 courses for £20 deal with was excellent value. My ravioli starter was particularly good, but everything was tasty and well-cooked, and presented with style.
the wine list is short but good and the selection of beers an original touch.

“Best kept secret in Bristol”
Reviewed May 2, 2012

Have eaten in 24 of the top 100 restaurants on the Bristol list. This is easily the best, for atmosphere, food, service, and value for money.
