probably nice for walking the dog but for a school trip 3 times in as many years, well you can only be interested in pondlife for so long. Didn't bother going last time school went there, pulled a sicky.

Situated between Longwell Green and Bitton the Mill is about 500 yards off the main road at Willsbridge. Its such a suprise as the main road is close but the mill is so peaceful and quiet. There are paths leading into the surrounding woods and you can walk for miles enjoying the wildlife. If you so wish you can also get a bite to eat or drink at the Mill cafe. This is also the site of the famous flood of 1968 when millions of gallons of water flooded down the valley, engulfing thre Queens Head Pub and then washing out and destroying the old bridges at Keynsham.

This is a popular spot for local dog walkers, with a stream running through the middle leading to a pond and a path surrounding the bulk of the property, They offer pond dipping and other activities for children and is an excellent place to visit for all the family.

Willsbridge mill is is part of the Avon Wildlife Trust, it is simply enchanting. Beautiful place with lots of wildlife; nature at its best!!!
We got there with our 5 year daughters on our bikes, it is not far off the Bristol/Bath railway path. A place we shall return too as it was a hit!
