Unfortunately it was raining and even the animals were staying inside! However the cafe was good and unusual and the food was good , if a bit pricey.

This place is idyllic and in the middle of a busy city centre and provides a tranquil haven away from it all - despite being one of the worst weeks for weather and I was passing this place was open and it is such a little gem - whilst everyone was out sledging I was one of the first customers of the day in abnormally quiet place (the deluge was to come once everyone was tired of sledging)

All the food is fresh and cooked on the premises and had a delightful sausage roll and cup of tea - the staff are friendly too

The toilet is out at the back - good for families and the surroundings are very informal - - when I move I hope to come here more often

Keep up the good work

Great to have animals and farming so close to the centre of Bristol. Being free it is a nice place to take visitors.

Really busy community cafe with great food.We loved the soup and the chips with garlic dip.The building as other reviewers have said makes you feel you are in the Shire of the Lord of the Rings Good strong coffee..The only slight issue was the slightly manky
toilet. There are other toilets on the other side of the road we were able to wait until we got to our next stop

This is an amazing farm with free access (donation recommended). Chickens, pigs and goats to feed (for a quid) and admire. Really well-kept, situated in a small area of Bristol surrounded by allotments and Victorian housing. The cafe is an amazing wooden and stone construction that comes straight from the Shire in Lord of the Rings! The detail and inlay is impressive. The cake was really tasty and moist and coffee some of the best I’ve drunk. The soup and sourdough was divine, and the chips incredible. Everything is off the farm. My favourite cafe!
