Very interesting and peaceful. The ARC cafe is super and you know you are helping an excellent charity. Take time to wander and read the memorials.

A beautiful and ancient church with great acoustics and a fascinating history now isolated on a traffic island.

“Beautiful old church”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Slightly out of the centre but right across the road from the Mercure Holland House Hotel. Very historical beautiful church - well worth a look. Good information sheet and panels to allow you to interpret what you are seeing.

“Majestic!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

"The fairest, goodliest and most famous parish church in England", to quote Queen Elizabeth I.

On my most recent visit, I had the church almost to myself, apart from a couple of church workers who were busily engaged with chores. Although it was a cold day, the church was nice and warm, and I enjoyed my time walking around it. It's a good way to spend 60 minutes.

Known for its world-famous pipe organ, it is worth looking out for concerts and organ recitals here.

“What a splendid suprise”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Stayed in mecure hotel across the rd from church and bristol tourist bus recommended a visit. It was an amazing church, with lots of thinks of interest and well worth visiting. Stain glass window, history of bristol and the church all well presented and free entrance, would rate better than manchester cathederal.
