Parish Wharf Swimming Pool
Ranked #183 of 211 things to do in Bristol
Attraction details

The pool is very good, and the kids pool is brilliant. On reception they tell you what the temperatures are. If you're travelling from outside of Portishead, it is worth knowing that on weekends it gets really busy and you may have to wait around to use the pool as it does reach its capacity and they can't legally allow any more people in.

Although the gym is quite small they have all the main gear you need to do a decent work out. The gym staff are all really friendly and helpful.

The person above clearly has no idea how much work goes into the running of a cafe.
There's normally ONE person working at the cafe there, and if they've just had a massive rush of customers, before you've turned up, then there is a hell of a lot of cleaning to do out the back, and half the time the customers stand somewhere stupid where they can't be seen.
I know all the cafe staff and they are very friendly and they NEVER take that long between checking if there are customers waiting.

Went on a Saturday with our 2 year old expecting it to be really busy but it was surprisingly not!

We looked long & hard for a fun pool in Bristol & couldn't find one! Eventually a friends friend recommended this leisure pool with a pirate ship!

Our sat nav got us there fine & there is 3 hours free parking which was great!

We paid approximately £9 for 2 adults & a 2 year old with no time restrictions which I thought was cheap & really good value for money!

There is a normal swimming pool for swimming which was fine just a little cold.

The fun pool is a pirate ship with under 8's slides & jacuzzi's kids can go in (not hot). Although this is a good fun pool it is tired & with closed areas needs some updating.

Our 2 year old did really enjoy it especially the shallow areas (fun pool no deeper than .75m) and he swims well so he loved being able to go in the big pool.

I would recommend this as no others in the area but I just think it needs a bit of money spent on it to bring it up to date.

One note the cafe was not well manned, we waited 20 minutes to buy a bag of 80p mccoys! The staff weren't very friendly & just hid out the back.
