We decided to use Bristol Zoo as a family day out to get all the different threads of our family together for the first time. Many were unable to make it but we did get 24 family together at Bristol Zoo and we had a fantastic time

Parking was abysmal - 15 minute walk to the zoo depsite requesting a disabled space. Diasppointed with the zoo itself - not much to see and do. The Coral Cafe was awful - the service slow and the drinks were not hot. Even though the weather was not great we were still really disappointed with the whole thing

Went here after my boys judo comp in bradley stoke. What an absolute dump of a place would never go back. Only one place on the whole site to eat. And that was terrible. No animals got all round park within an hour all together we were ther 2 hours thats how bord my little girl and my son was. To much building work going on for it to be a family attraction scruffy not maintained enough and dirty

A two hour car journey with a 3 year old. Nearly an hour to find somewhere to park. An entrance through scaffolding into what really is a building site. It is obvious that major work is taking place but even allowing for weather and time of year this is really not attractive or welcoming. An endless queue to buy lunch with little sign posting or choice. Very few animals. A lot of extra attractions to pay for, a zip wire, the most interesting part of the day was watching the attendant spend 15 mins talking a small frightened child into jumping and the cheer that went up when she succeeded, the roundabouts etc. did we have a great day, certainly not, would i recommend , definitely not, was it value fir money.NO WAY. Sorry Bristol, I'm not even sure you should call yourself a zoo.

I had spent £90 for my brother and girlfriend to have the Meet & Greet experience with the Meerkats. We loved the zoo as always, Kath was very friendly and informative whilst they were in the enclosure feeding the meerkats etc.

The package comes with free drinks for the people who go into the enclosure so for us 2 drinks. There were four of us and we queued up to check what drinks the woman was extremely rude and sent us next door, Sam in the restaurant was very friendly said it was fine and to go back and say 'San said it's fine' she then said she wanted to keep our paperwork and was slamming equipment around she then told her colleague we had 4 free drinks I asked her if this was right she said 'YOU tell ME!' I then intervened and said no need to be rude we have paid a lot of money we are happy to pay for the extra drinks.

No member of staff at any company will know absolutely everything but the way she went about this and how she spoke to me was an appalling attitude.

I have sent an email of complaint but haven't had a response.

Because of this experience this would put me off going again which is a shame.
