I enjoy visiting this Museum. It is a good day out for both the family or as a couple. The only complaint I would have about it is that the exhibits seem to have barely changed for about 10 years or more. I seem to have seen it all. Great for a first time visit however with free entry!

It's a problem for a small museum - do you try and maximise your displays to exhibit as much as possible - or concentrate on fewer but better? There are some beautiful objects - especially IMO among the Chinese ceramics and 19thC paintings. But there is also a glass case showing the development of the brick. I found some parts of the art galleries (which was what I was concentrating on) underlit and 'in progress'. Nevertheless, I would still say it is worth a visit.

I loved it. You need a couple of hours to explore it... It is very interesting and rather big. Four floors if i am not mistacen. There is also a nice cafe on the groud floor.

It's nice to finally visit a museum where you can look at everything and still come out in time for late lunch.

Not spectacular. But cozy and deliciously old. We can find dinosaur skeletons as well as exquisite paintings and lovely china.
There is a nice play-corner downstairs for toddlers which seem to be popular with locals especially. My toddler enjoyed playing with others her age.

A free museum with donation boxes inside well worth dropping a few pound in everything to see, some great displays, something for everyone.
