my visit was to view the Wildlife Photography Exhibition in the Gallery. Being Half Term the whole Museum was buzzing with families. there were inter-active displays and hands on activities all around.as with most Museums this little gem is free but a donation is gratefully received

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

It's clear that this is a well-loved local museum for adults and kids. Their Egypt exhibition was just the right length and depth of info. They have the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition on right now, which was quiet during the week. The entrance hall is beautiful as well.

“I really really enjoyed this day out”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

David, a part-time staffer was generous with his time, explaining the history behind some of their glass collection, as well as shared info on some of the Bristol painters and paintings and ceramics. Some of the walls are covered in fabric, adding warmth to the exhibits. Was awed by the monumental work by Ai Weiwei - A Ton of Tea - smelt like tea. I really really enjoyed this day out.

“Lots of things in ONE”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

What I love about this museum is the idea of having so many things in one place.. Do you like Egypt? Here you go.. something to see :) Are you interested in Dino times or wild animals.. just the right place to visit! Or maybe you love paintings - Bingo!..
I can't imagine anyone not being pleased after visiting this amazing place.
