Definitely worth visiting to see the beautiful architecture. The organ was being checked (or maybe it was someone practising) when I was there so it added to the atmosphere.

This is such a beautiful cathedral, spend some time in the cathedral, built in 10th century. There are a few sections within the cathedral to visit and information on the history of the cathedral as well as memorial stones, tombs of passed bishops etc. Fascinating. Such a sense of peace to be found there.

Would not usually be on my radar of must dos when visiting a city with a family but we really enjoyed this cathedral. The grounds are also lovely and there are lots of photo opps. My husband even appreciated the amazing architecture and windows which is a first.

You must go in and have a look, such a gorgeous building, and the organ is gigantic!! I do worry about intruding when going into places like this but we were made very welcome and I'm glad we decided to pop in!

Beautiful architecture. I liked it better than the one in Bath or even Westminster Abbey. Take the time to see it and walk around the neighborhood.
