“Good for young children”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

brilliant fun!
I'm not sure how much the children will take away from it but hopefully it will come back to them as they do it at school.
only spent a couple of hours there, so worked out expensive on that basis, I'm sure others could easily spend another hour there.
there's an indoor picnic area, and an expensive looking cafe.
plenty of toilets and baby changing.
our nearly 2 year old enjoyed himself, and our 5 and 7 year olds had fun, as did our friends 4 and 9year olds, I'm not sure that children from 12plus would really enjoy it.

“Great family fun!”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

We have een here numerous imes. Fantastic for children of all ages. Lots of hands on stuff to do, without being too in your face about it being a learning experience. Making our own animation films - a special feature this year - was hilarous fun. I am sure my lads will drag me here again - but you won't hear me complain!

“Great family day out!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

This is somewhere that all the family can visit and all enjoy. Any age will enjoy playing, learning and exploring this science museum. You can't help but get side tracked as you walk around with your children...it's great fun! The planetarium is worth a visit for you and your children. You find out lots of information and then can't wait to get out into the dark to see what you can spot and remember. I've never eaten here so can't comment on the food. It's a little pricey to get in but I feel is worth the money for such a fun educational day out especially if it is raining. There are lockers that you can use to store any belongings so you don't have to carry anything with you whilst you investigate. A great day out!

“Great fun for all ages.”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Great granny, grandparents, parents and children all enjoyed the day at @Bristol.

There was so much to do. The children (and mummy and daddy) really enjoyed making their own Gromit.

The lockers to store bags etc were a great idea as it meant we could be 'hands free'.

There were lots of seats downstairs which meant that it was possible for the older generation to just sit and watch the children enjoy themselves.

I would recommend the cafe and the shop was brilliant with a range of prices.
