Owner description: We The Curious was previously known as At-Bristol Science Centre; an educational charity with an aim to “make science accessible to all”, it opened in 2000, and welcomed over 5 million visitors in the past 17 years. At-Bristol relaunched as We The Curious in September 2017, with a new vision that is committed to creating a culture of curiosity. We The Curious is an idea and a place for everyone. Our venue on Bristol’s harbourside is a bit like an indoor festival, with all sorts of different experiences, where you can interact with exhibits, test stuff out and participate rather than just visit. We’re all about empowering everyone to ask questions and get creative - with boundaries removed between science, art, people and ideas - a culture of curiosity.

This area of Bristol is a must for a visit. Very close to the water, very central and very easy to get to. Well signposted with city maps everywhere. @ Bristol is a fabulous place to go with tons of variety is places to eat and drink. It also included a huge London 2012 screen with a beautiful water feature and deck chair area. Ping pong is also available. Loved this place and could happily spend a lot of time here!

Ok, so I am an adult, I took a friend who was 17 to at Bristol because he wanted to see it.

The entry is a little steep for what there is to see, the "Gift Aid" is a con (as I pointed out to several staff) as gift aid means they can claim tax back on your entry fee (donation) however, they increase the fee if you do not want to pay with gift aid.

The exhibits were well constructed so that they were indestructable, a few were on their last legs!

Could be better for the money.....

This place is better than the science museum in London. There is so much to look at, and take part in, and even our ten month old was able to enjoy the majority of the exhibits ( if that is what you'd call them?!)

There were some old classics, like the mini tornado, giant bubbles and curvy mirrors, and some really interesting new things. I defy anyone not to learn something new here, regardless of their age.

The interactive science displays were great for us 'mature' visitors and must have been absolutely fabulous for kids. We went specifically for the Planetarium and were actually a little disappointed with the presentation which we felt was a bit rushed, disjointed and sometimes difficult to follow visually as too many stars were showing all the time.

This was a briliant day out for pre-school aged children and older. The children all loved the hands on environment and the planetarium. We all came away having learnt something new!
