“Lovely place for a walk, picnic or cycle.”
Reviewed February 26, 2012

Ashton Court is on the edge of Bristol and almost opposite the Clifton Suspension Bridge. However there are two different entrances so if you are meeting someone there as we have done in the past, make sure you both go to the same entrance and car park, as they are miles away from each other. It is a wonderful place to go for a walk - there are paths all the way through, or you can go off piste as it were. It is also very popular with cyclists.

There are good views of the city from some places as it is quite hilly. There is also a public golf course at one end. There is a cafe both ends as well. In the summer it is not unusual to see hot air balloons - which is fun to watch. Also a lovely place for a summer picnic.

“Lovely grounds”
Reviewed February 21, 2012

Located on the outskirts it has stunning views across to Dundry. The house itself is looking less attractive that it's heyday but the grounds and trees are wonderful to walk around. With the added attraction of a small golf course it's a very pleasant place to spend time.

“A great place for a walk”
Reviewed February 16, 2012

A great place for a long walk whatever the time of year and so many different ones to do. Just don't get run over by a mountain biker and the cafe has been closed for nearly a year, but should reopen April 2012 apparently.

Reviewed February 15, 2012

Becoming a regular a Ashton Court mountain bike trails has been fun experience. The new trails here are fantastic. It's bought my bike back out of the garage and firmly on the trails again. Highly recommended.

“Perfect for a sunny day”
Reviewed February 15, 2012

Ashton court is a lovely escape on a warm sunny day. Ideal for wandering around as a couple, getting the family some exercise or challenging yourself to some mroe serious running, it's a lovely location. Parking can be a nightmare if the weather's good, but the little cafe does good drinks and ice creams.
