Stayed from Friday to Monday and had a great time. Beautiful hotel. Booking in was fast and simple. Our room was clean and fresh. This is an old property but the rooms, reception, bar and restaurant are all fresh and airey. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big. Fantastic pressure on the shower. All staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and a cooked breakfast was also available. Full breakfast compromised 2 rashers of streaky bacon, 2 eggs, sausage, tomato, black pudding, beans, mushrooms and toast. Had a wonderful nights sleep. No banging doors even though the hotel was busy. All in all a very good weekend.

Myself and boyfriend stayed for just one night after attending a wedding. Wow! I arrived on my own and was greated by a lovely receptionist. The room was beautiful, lovely bed, bathroom good and large flat screen TV. Although forget TV and enjoy the surroundings. The breakfast was fantastic, especially after a far few drinks were had this was a wonderful treat. All in all, really worth a visit. Its quiet and relaxing and really feels like you are miles away from Bristol. We will be back!

Don't be put off by the slightly tired exterior on arrival. The Henbury Lodge Hotel is an absolute gem. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We witnessed service above and beyond the call of duty with some guests who required additonal assistance.
The food in Blaise restaurant was fabulous with additional touches like freshy baked bread to enhance the wonderful food. The menu was varied to suit all tastes and reasonably priced too. Our room was freshly decorated to a high standard and the power shower was spectacular.
An excellent all rounder which deserves more than its 3 stars. We will definately be return visitors.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 7 which was located in its own wing of the hotel. Not much of a view but very peaceful.

Small hotel in quiet part of Bristol, although only 10 mins or so from Clifton area. Clean, recently refurbished but characterful rooms, and excellent staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast good (including home made yoghurt and marmalade). Only thing to watch out for is there is no lift, so if stairs are a problem for you make sure you don't get a room on the 2nd floor! Also price was very reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth seeking out in Bristol.

Could not believe my luck in finding this hotel. Arrived on a flat renovation mission and the hotel was on the same road as the flat. Having passed the Premiere Inn and Holiday Inn on the way in I was so pleased I had checked with Trip Advisor first.
Stayed on the top floor which has lovely views of the surrounding Blaise estate. The lounge and bar were very relaxed and we talked to other customers who were similarly impressed with their rooms especailly the stable block which is very modern.
I will definately stay again, perhaps only bringing my own pillow next time.

Room Tip: Our top floor room has an older bathroom than the other rooms but they are currently all being upgraded
