Very helpful and friendly staff. Pulled up late at night and somewhat resembles an American Motel from many a TV series with the two tiered rooms. Inside however was extremely spacious and clean. If you are looking for somewhere to simply close your eyes as your passing by then this is fine however in all honesty would not want to stay here out of pleasure for a week.

Wasn't too impressed with the Breakfast however it is thrown in complimentary.

I only stayed here 1 night, its close to the airport and my room had great views. The accommodation is separate from the main building. The rooms are very last century but have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good but not the best I've had. The staff were friendly & helpful. My room was clean except for the collection of dead flys in the bathroom light! One room is,apparently haunted but not room 56! In fact with earplugs I didn't hear a thing all night!

Town and country lodge was clean quiet and comfortable, the three most important considerations for tired travelers.

I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The man at the front desk very welcoming, and the young woman single handedly handling the bar and dinning room in the evening. She had an enthusiasm and wonderful smile even though it was close to the kitchens closing, the put a smile on our faces.

Comfortable place for a family traveling.

My 3rd stay, what can you say its Close to the airport, the jottl uses an efficient and friendly transfer service even at 3 in the morning.
Reception very helpful.
Our family room was fine, could do with decorating but had everything you need and the beds were comfy and clean.
We didn't eat here this time but have previously and found it ok.
We will stay again so i can't say fairer than that

We stayed at this hotel as it was the closest to where we needed to be, 1st impression Crossroads Motel. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very dated, we stayed in room 36 the carpet had never been hovered in weeks. The bed and pillows are hard as rock very uncomfortable. Self serviced Breakfast this should have been full English breakfast, but no bacon out. I would recommend you stay in the Premier Inn just down the road.

Room Tip: Dont stay book the Premier Inn

stayed here before and this stay was as good a value as you will get at the price
The warm welcome at reception equalled earlier visits, the room was very clean and the staff
were cheerful as ever. one thing to be mindful of is restaurant opening times as it is open from 18.00 and last orders are 20.45, food is good and served swiftly so even if you arrive late you can still get a meal as long as it is ordered before 20.45.
Breakfast is excellent and being a help yourself would rival any good transport cafe ( and i have been in lots ) the morning staff are just as cheery as the rest but as the recent spell of hot weather leading up to this stay was so good the poor things looked as if they were being cooked themselves ( it was very hot in the kitchen ) they could do with a small air con unit for these times.
will be staying there again when next in the area.

Room Tip: ask for a ground floor if mobility is an issue

I needed a hotel PDQ for a visit down to the south west and plumped for this place. First impression upon arrival was 'Crossroads'! The hotel has a main reception & public area building surrounded by a two storey 'motel' arrangement reminiscent of the old tv series.
But the room was fairly modern, spacious, clean. Water pressure as observed by others was somewhat lacking, bed was comfy. An 8 out of 10 for the room.
The public areas to be fair were a bit tired, old fashioned and lacking 'oomph'. A 4/10 here.
As for the staff - very helpful, friendly & efficient - if a bit casual, so a 7/10 for them.
All in all, I have no complaints, but with a bit of TLC this could be a REALLY nice place instead of your stereotypical contractors stopover.
Not sure if I'd stay again. But, I would give it some consideration.

N.B. I offer average ratings throughout as I don't believe it warrants being classed as 'Very Good'.
