fabulously clean room, cannot fault it. Did not have breakfast at the hotel but at cafe's nearby. Air conditioning kept the room at a great temperature as windows sealed shut. Check in and out super fast.

After an efficient and friendly check in, I was sent to a good-sized, scrupulously clean rooom on the seventh floor. My rooom was well-appointed, with nice soft carpets, good quality bed linen and two large mirrors.

As with all the rooms in this hotel, the windows were sealed shut but the air conditioning worked quickly to cool the room down. I'll admit the bed was a little firm for my tastes, but this is very much down to personal preference and shouldn't be taken as a real complaint.

Posters in the lifts thoughtfully warned that the restaurant got very busy after 9:30 am at the weekend due to the "volume of guest's" . Arrgghh! Blatant abuse of the apostrophe! Not allowing grammar rage to cloud my morning, I found breakfast to be of a high standard for the price, with a good range of both hot and cold items.

I would certainly recommend this hotel, and will be staying there next time I'm in town.

Only stayed one night (1st Sept) on way to Cornwall but would not hesitate to return . Check in was quick and Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, very clean and bed comfy. However breakfast was a big disappointment, although it was only 9 o'clock ( and it says available until 10.30) there was very limited choice , no crumpets,no croissants or mufffins, no jam , coffee machine empty, only paper cups and hardly any hot food out. When I asked a member of staff if they had any more jam her response was "its over there" before she went over to check and then tutted she would look if they had any , we then had to ask for coffee machine to be filled up but gave up asking for hot choice or anything else as were given the impression we were a nuisance. Definitely not worth the £16.50 we paid so although we would stay again if in the area we will NOT be having breakfast....sorry.

Good location, great Beefeater restaurant attached, large carpark (though ticket meter sometimes said it was full when it wasnt) and nice sized family room. Would stay there again if travelling to Bristol
