My friend's room failed the 'good nights sleep' guarantee because of squeaky pipes BUT the staff were brilliant and didn't make us feel bad or quibble at all. My room was excellent - space and awesome air con. Nicely positioned. I begrudge paying £8 to park BUT that is consistent with city centre hotels so I accept that. Staff should deffo be valued as they are a credit to the purple palace.

Being a big fan of Premier inn's for their complete 'if you need a bed for the night' function, i find it hard to fault them. In my experience the rooms are always clean, functional and perfectly adequate.

In relation to this Premier inn in Bristol, all the above apply, the only downside is limited parking and the less than attractive immediate location. Unfortunately if you want to walk into Bristol you have to walk under a subway and it's not exactly the nicest experience - i wouldnt do it at night!

We visited several Premier Inn hotels during our trip to and through Wales. This one, at Haymarket in Bristol, did not quite meet the standards we are used in the Premier Inn hotels. I can not point it out, it is more a kind of feeling. The room was somewhat small, windows could not be opened. But there was airco.
Bathroom clean, room clean. Staff friendly most of the time but looked a bit preoccupied. Breakfast in nextdoors restaurant, with a nice view on the busstop.
Not bad, but somehow not totally Premier Inn to us.

This is my second stay at a Premier Inn and I admire the consistency. Staff are friendly and helpful. I did not like the fact that the windows have a net curtain in between the double glazing so the view outside is blurry..I can't imagine why the curtains are there at all since you can't open the window to push the curtains back.
My only other nit pick is that if you want to print anything you have to email the front desk and they will open up the email and print your document. A bit of a hassle if it doesn't print properly and you have to come down, check it, then go back to your room and reprint etc. In my case it didn't work and I had a mini panic about printing my bus ticket..
Aside from that, very well lodated; just opposite Broadmead shopping centre which leads to the Cabot Circus shopping centre, right in front of the Bristol Coach and Bus Station, 10-15 minutes walk to habourside..and a Beefeater restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Well that last bit is not adding value to the hotel because the service is appalling. The wait staff are friendly and trying hard but very short-staffed so long waits for everything.

This hotel is in a very good location, close to everything. It is clean and comfortable and provides good value for the money. The only drawback is the fact that the windows cannot be opened, resulting in some "stuffiness" in terms of air quality.

Comfy rooms
Friendly staff
This was our third visit and excellent service as always. Friendly welcome and check in quick and easy. Room was on floor 16 and was fresh and clean. Bathroom also clean, although shower a tad old but nevertheless did the job! Bed made and room tidied each day and tea etc replaced. Location is super..just a 20min bus ride from airport and inn is located by bus station so no .long walk with cases. Inn also in city centre so 2 min walk to shops. If you can walk further..the harbourside id 20 min away. Superb!

Like all Premier Inns, this one cuts out the frills but delivers a clean functional dependable service (including for wheelchair users in their disabled rooms). Unlike many in this hotel chain, this one is centrally located in a bustling city with the associated parking challenges. Fellow guests were pretty inconsiderate either using or blocking Disabled spaces in the car park. The staff were incredibly helpful at all times, including opening up the loading bay to enable us to park overnight somewhere that I could access in my wheelchair. The hotel may not look much from the outside (big tower block on top of a busy roundabout) but it all works beautifully and even in the very hot weather last weekend we had a really comfortable sleep.
