Plenty of friendly workers and tourists that took our picture. Went to the kiosk last, glad we did! The guy running it was very informative and super enthusiastic, learnt a lot about the history and the competition. £1 to cross in the car, return included. Walking it's free so you can park up close to the entrance, there are free to park spaces right there. Awesome.

Clifton Village is a parking nightmare, just have to drive around till you spot someone moving, it took us nearly 30 mins to find a place. It is a masterpiece of design and construction, worth a detour to see .Against a clear blue sky it really was stunning. The Avon Gorge Hotel has a viewing platform with tables and chairs and our tip is to buy a tea or hard drink and then sit and enjoy the view.
Don't forget to take your camera.

The suspension bridge is very picturesque the views on a clear day go on for miles the river avon flows beneath the avon gorge is around and beneath the bridge at night it is lit up and has a famous history, you can walk or drive across the bridge and its great when they have fireworks displays.

Amazing views across the Clifton gorge and city plus quite an eerie atmosphere at night! A masterpiece of engineering and a true national treasure and not far from the bars and restaurants of Clifton!

Great bridge and great views...there is a footpath to walk across, worth a visit if you have time. If in a car it costs £1 to cross.
