The clifton suspension bridge is nice because it has amazing views you can walk across for free but its 50p to drive across but there are toilets on both sides and on one side there is a rock slide

My husbands home town. We used to go there regularly and always made the effort to go and see the bridge. Parking is difficult up in Clifton so give yourself a break. This bridge is so magnificent as it hangs above hundreds of feet above the river, like an elegant swan, gracious and sleek. Brunel worked his magic with this steel structure well before any other nation even tried this! Go there at sunset!

You cannot help but be blown away by the amazing engineering and phenomenal views that you experience on the bridge. One of the massive highlights of the city. Take a picnic and sit on the greens surrounding the bridge.

The bridge and the river are awesome to see. The park that is just next to it is what completed the visit. It was a beautiful day, so am definitely glad we visited.

.Well worth a visit as long as you like heights. New visitor centre is in early stages of construction and will make a big difference to the experience. Make sure that you also walk upto the observatory on the downs adjacent to the bridge where you can visit the caves.(at a cost).
