I went to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge in late fall. It started to get dark around 4 in the afternoon and twilight became a really impressive backdrop to the majestic bridge that somehow feels so natural on the landscape. The history of its establishment is quite fascinating, in fact. The best vantage point would be on the observatory on the hill (though a view from the tunnel roads below is also nice). It was quite relaxing to sit atop that point and just behold the amazing bridge that has given Bristol a personality worth getting to know.
