I have to cross this beautiful bridge almost on a daily basis, it was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Its more enjoyable to walk and see the view. They've raised the fence height again sadly to stop jumpers.

“Historic bridge”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Historically very interesting and fun to walk over. Looks good at night when lit up. Makes a good subject for a photo. One of Bristol's attributes to which scores of visitors are attracted.

“He was an engineer, he used to live 'round 'ere . . . Isambard Kingdom Brunel”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Anyone who visits Bristol should take a trip up to Clifton and walk across the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Stunning location and views, a visitor centre - with people who can answer any questions . . . and it's all free for foot traffic.

“breath taking”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

we took our grandchildren (2 boys / 4 girls) and we enjoyed the view from the height above river, Bristol and the cliffs. We then went on to the Obscurer at the top of the hill. The engineering was complex and the children were fascinated with whole area
