Beautiful bridge, free to walk across and good visitor centre. Great views of the city as well. Nice walk from the city, and through lovely village of Clifton. Beware there is a really steep hill when walking to bridge from city centre!! Might be tough going for some people.

The best 50p you'll spend in Bristol! Take pics from the bottom for the best views ... and check out the graffiti on the way up ... if you're not of a sensitive disposition!

We went during the day and at night. Both were enjoyable. The park overlooking the bridge is lovely too. And it's in Clifton at the posh side of town, so loads of nice cafes, restaurants, architecture etc.

Thank Sheila N
