Clifton suspension bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and is a truly beautiful landmark. It can be seen from miles across the south of Bristol. The view from the bridge is equally beautiful looking down the Avon Gorge.
At night time the bridge is often lit up and looks lovely. Its a wonderful place to visit at any time of year. There is plenty of free on road parking nearby. The toll to go across by car is 50p either way. Visitors can walk across for free. The Avon Gorge Hotel/Bar nearby is a great place to sit outside and admire the view in good weather.
