I regularly use it! I also see it from the Cumberland Basin which I also regularly use. Its lighting at night makes it very special.

...risked all to bridge the Avon Gorge. Go to Sion Hill, Clifton, to experince the bridge "side on" first. Read the history and then walk across - look out, you'll think you're flying!

“Good old Brunel”

Despite the problems with metal fatigue Isambard's bridge still looks great and carries traffic which would only have been a dream in his time.
